As a native of El Paso, Texas, Dax has always been sensitive to immigration and border issues. Dax began developing his interest in immigration law as an intern with the El Paso Federal Public Defender and through his law school clinical studies. Subsequently, Dax honed his business immigration skills at a nationally recognized New York law firm shortly before joining Alaniz and Schraeder.

Currently, Dax focuses on obtaining temporary work visas and permanent residency for foreign nationals. As a citizen of the United States and Mexico, Dax is fluent in Spanish and has established connections in Mexico that provide an excellent resource for companies who are searching for workers south of the border. In addition, Dax advises and trains the firm's clients with employment verification issues by auditing I-9 records and conducting seminar training.
